Help us improve the lives of orphans in Africa and Asia. By the year 2010, 40 million children in Sub-Sahara will be orphaned by the pandemic of AIDS. This is the number of children living in the United States east of the Mississippi!
Over 60 million orphans go to bed hungry every night.
143 million children are suffering from malnutrition, and 400 thousand of those will die this year.
HIV and AIDS is devastating global communities, and millions are facing the horror of war and abuse EVERY day.
Every two seconds a child becomes an orphan......
This November 9th is World Orphans Day.
Help us raise awareness of the dire plight of the millions of orphaned children in our world today.
You DO have the power to make a difference. Make THEM a priority
We are an entertainment related non-profit 501(c) 3 foundation comprised of individuals of influence and hearts on fire to make a difference in the lives of impoverished children of the world. We gather support and awareness of the cause through promotions, celebrity marketing with charity rebates, special events, and internet marketing.
Fast Facts:
-
An estimated 40 million children will be orphaned by 2010, one every 14 seconds.
- What serves the orphans best?
- In 11 countries in Sub-Saharan Africa, more than 15% of all children were orphans in 2003
- By 2010, sub-Saharan Africa will be home to an estimated 50 million orphaned children, and more than a third will have lost one or both parents to AIDS.
- 8 out of every 10 children who have lost parents to AIDS live in sub-Saharan Africa, and the number is expected to increase over the next two decades at least.
Researching the various studies and government policies in Sub-Sahara Africa, our board found that meeting the needs was an overwhelming challenge, Community based initiatives utilizing local people as the facilitators was a criteria for success.

These rescue units are small and portable and set in the villages most afflicted. In contrast to a resident orphanage, several hundred orphans can be given assistance in a 3-5 mile radius of a unit. Through 16 rescue units, one AIDS orphan organization has helped sustain 5,000 children in Africa. We wish to enhance and expand their programs as well as generate the building and manning of many, many more with your help and support.
We believe the efficient programs through the Orphan Rescue Units and blessing centers provide immediate and tangible solutions for the victims of the spreading AIDS
